Massachusetts residents can now initiate a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application when they apply for or renew their MassHealth benefits online. New Common Application for MassHealth and Food Benefits SNAP Path to Work provides Massachusetts SNAP clients with the skills, training, experience, education and employment supports needed to find and keep good paying jobs. It can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. The DTA Connect app, which lets you view and manage your case information. You will need to verify your income, expenses and other information. If you want someone to apply or get SNAP benefits for you, you will need their contact information. If you are applying for other people in your household, you will need their personal information. You may need more information in certain situations. Select 2 to report a phone number change. Steps to update your number via the automated prompts on the DTA Assistance Line: Call the DTA Assistance Line at 87. You can view the SNAP eligibility charts to find the guideline that applies to your household. Their information is available on DTA Connect. This includes your Social Security number (if you have one), birth date, home address (if you have one), income, and expenses. You may be eligible to receive food assistance benefits through the SUNCAP Program without any additional application, paperwork, or interviews. To apply for SNAP benefits, you need to provide personal information.
